Apartment 5 James Cook is the perfect place to call home on your next Byron Bay holiday. Park the car and walk everywhere This perfectly finished property has a shared saltwater pool and is directly across from the beach - no need for a car!. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen this property will be your perfect home away from home in a sought after Byron location.

Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and shared bathroom. The queen master bedroom with ensuite is located at the front. The 2 other rooms are located side by side with 2 singles beds in one and double in the other. Well appointed and good sizes , the sleeping arrangements are very comfortable.

The front courtyard is a perfect way to spend the evening with family as the sun sets over the hinterland. The James Cook Apartments also offers a large salt water pool which is perfection for an afternoon poolside after a morning at the beach.

The Cape Byron Walking Track, Clarkes Beach and The Pass are all easily accessible. Walking to town is simple with Byron’s Best cafes, restaurants and boutiques just a 10-minutes away by foot.

Clarkes Beach is regarded as one of the safest beaches in the Byron area being regularly patrolled over summer and fantastic swimming for the kids. It is also a great learn to surf spot with long rolling waves. When the swell picks up you can wander up the beach to the world famous Pass surf break and enjoy the action from the beach or out on your board.

Aircon should be a minimum

Lovely place, clean, and well presented. The beds were comfortable, but I had to leave a night early, it was far too hot. For the price, I think aircon should be a non-negotiable.

Great stay

Great stay in a nice apartment. Really need to consider air conditioning in at least downstairs and/or the bedrooms however. Theres not much through breeze; and having common walls with other units, on both sides, means theres no cross breeze to cool the unit down, especially being two stories.

Enjoyed our first time stay in the well appointed James Cook apartments. Pros - great location opposite the beach, key box next to the door made it an easy week away for a family. Undercover parking and great inground saltwater pool were awesome. Cons - for this price and location , unit really needs air con and/or fans downstairs . Upstairs had ceiling fans, however washing machine and dryer being located upstairs made it hot on occasions. Also, kitchen area gets really hot due to skylight.

A great townhouse for a family with plenty of space and options to relax. Easy walk into town and easier walk across the road to the beach if you want a change from the pool.

We had a great experience and stay. Booking was easy and we were regularly kept up-to-date via email/txt. The apartment was clean and had everything we could want for a long weekend. It's close to town and the beach. Secure parking is a plus. a great place for both short and long stays.

Townhouse within across the road from the beach. Unit equiped with most things you will need but be aware that number 5 has no air conditioning. With windows open to cool the place down the road in front of the unit is very busy and noisy. Second thing is the beds are not queen size but doubles. Aside from these items the unit is well equipped and in a fabulous location to the beach.
